![]() ![]() ![]() I don't think a random villain will be value-betting a weaker hand or spazzing out with a bluff that often this early in a tournament, so it looks like a sigh fold to me.One would think that with CPI rising, the Fed hiking rates by 75bps, the Bank of Canada hiking even higher by 100bps, the U.S. That being said, you're getting 2.5 to 1 so need to be right at least about 1/3 of the time to make the call profitable. More often than not you're gonna be up against a boat rather than a weaker flush draw. What aces does villain have in his range here that we don't have blocked AND haven't boated up? Not many.Ĭalling off here would be ambitious and hoping for too narrow of a range to call. If villain's range is narrowed according to the action that's happened so far, the only hands you beat in this spot and could potentially get value from would be hands with the J of diamonds in them (not many, since you block KJ combos and villain is less likely to have a QJ combo due to the paired board). River: Once the board pairs, I'd be a bit more cautious leading out since you need to think about what worse hands could call you in this spot. Otherwise, it looks more like AJ or QJ with the J of diamonds. At this point you can be nearly certain that the worst villain could have here is a set, maybe top two. Turn: Villain calls a pot-sized bet with 4 diamonds on board. Most likely range consists of pocket pairs, suited broadways, and some strong aces.įlop: This lead out for 1/4 pot is so weak, if I'm villain I'm probably floating with a large portion of the hands that called preflop unless I had no pair and no draw. Looks like they wouldn't mind calling it off against the shorter stacks ahead of them with that sizing. Tough spot, let's look at the range of hands that villain could have here. /r/lottery - A community for everything lottery./r/chipporn - If you like to admire & share chip stacks./r/pokercirclejerk - If you need more poker memes./r/pokervids - For poker related videos. ![]() Otherwise these threads may be deleted at the moderators' discretion.
